Founder Bio
Norman LaVigne, Jr. is the President and Founder of Valcour Strategic Group, LLC.
Norman has over twenty years of business experience in strategic planning, new product development, sales and marketing plan implementation for industry leading companies including Emerson Electric, Danaher, and Invensys. Much of his career has been committed to commercializing new and existing technology products, such as Hand Held Instruments and Analyzers, Sanitary Process Instrumentation, Specialty Process Equipment and Systems, Adjustable Speed Drive and Motion Control Systems, HVACR Control Systems, and Spectral Sensor Systems.
His unique areas of expertise include collaborative product development, process sustainability, remote monitoring and service-enabling applications, lean enterprise, voice-of-customer research, and sales channel analysis and re-architecture. Of particular interest is integrating novel sensor technology into innovative new products for new market applications. Norman is passionate about business innovation and enabling new market opportunities for his clients.

Norman currently consults to industry leading global suppliers to the Food & Beverage, and Water Processing Industry. Additionally, he consults to sensor technology and regional food product companies on developing and launching new value-added products.
A native of Vermont, Norman enjoys the outdoors with his wife, Heather, and Labrador Retrievers, Sumi and Taz. They currently reside in Valcour, New York on the Adirondack Coast.
